Sanitas Primero
Co-Payment
This policy is NOT suitable for residency / N.I.E. / visa.
Sanitas Primero is a complete medical insurance with a very economical price with which you can have the best services of private health care: free access to specialists, diagnostic tests and more personalized attention, among others.
In case you need a surgical intervention, you will be able to perform it assuming part of such intervention, since Sanitas assumes the rest. The insured’s share of the cost of the services is divided into three levels, depending on the complexity of the intervention and the associated cost:
- No participation in expenses: Difficulty groups 0, 1, 2, 3 and group 4 and 5 ophthalmology and trauma arthroscopy procedures, and varicose veins of the lower limbs.
- With an expense participation of €1,000: Difficulty group 4 and hospitalization (except for those mentioned above).
- With an expense participation of €2,000: Difficulty groups 5 and 6, delivery and cesarean section (except for those mentioned above).
- With an expense participation of €3,000: Difficulty groups 7 and 8.
Customized Surgical Payments
With or without hospitalization. In case you need a surgical intervention, you will be able to have it done assuming only part of the cost, since Sanitas assumes the rest. The cost to be paid by the insured is divided into three levels depending on the complexity of the intervention and the associated cost.
Sanitas Protection For Your Family
In the event of the policyholder's death, Sanitas will pay the insurance premium for 12 months.

Primary healthcare & Emergencies
General medicine, ambulance service, Sanitas 24h, special care at home, paediatrics, nursing services and emergencies, etc.
Hospitalisation with Private Room
Includes operating theatre and medication expenses in a conventional, individual room with a bed for your visitor. (except for Psychiatric hospitalisation).
Access to doctors and medical specialties
Dermatology, allergology, psychiatry, endocrinology, urology, cardiology, ophthalmology, gynaecology, traumatology, oncology, diet and nutrition, etc.
Surgery: Inpatient and outpatient
Outpatient 100% covered. Inpatient subject to contributions towards the costs.
Preventive medicine and Psychology services
Prevention of breast and cervical cancer, prevention of coronary risk and prevention of colorectal cancer. Treatment for issues such as depression, anorexia, insomnia, marriage counselling and stress.
Therapeutic Methods and Diagnostic Tests
Endoscopies, ultrasound, x-rays, mammograms, smear tests, clinical analysis and tests (including antenatal care), MRI/CAT scans, etc. Also including cancer treatments, rehab, speech therapy, radiotherapy, respiratory, etc.

Health care arising from
